March Beauty Wish List

March Beauty Wants

Here are a few beauty products I'm currently wishing I owned.

Smashbox Contour Sticks
59 AUD - smashbox.com

Unfortunately, the Smashbox Contour Sticks aren't available at Mecca Maxima, who are the only retailer of Smashbox that I know of in Perth. I'm not sure why they don't stock them; I keep looking on their website hoping they appear, but they haven't :( So to get them I'll have to buy them online. I've been wanting some cream contour products for a while and saw these being applied and thought they looked great! I like that they're in a stick form for easy application, and come with a highlighter and two different contour shades.

Nars Contour Blush Duo in Olympia
56 AUD - Mecca Maxima

I've been wanting a light powder for setting under my eyes for a while now, and recently saw someone on Youtube using the powder in this Contour Blush Duo in Olympia. She then used the darker powder as a bronzer/contour. I'm not the biggest fan of spending huge amounts of money on makeup, so if I can buy a product that is good for multiple uses I'm a happy girl.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water
44 AUD - Mecca Maxima

I'm not the best at remembering to apply primer before I put my base on, but the Smashbox Photo Finish Primer Water looks like such an easy and fast application that I'd not be too lazy to apply it each day. You can also spray it over top of your makeup to help it stay in place and last longer. Saves buying a primer and a setting spray and you know how I love multi-purpose products :P

Estée Lauder Pure Color Blush in Witty Peach
60 AUD - Myer

When I went to the Estee Lauder counter to try the Double Wear foundation the makeup artist did a full makeup routine on me, including primer, eye cream, moisturiser, foundation, pressed powder and blush. The blush she used was the Pure Colour Blush in Witty Peach and I absolutely loved the colour on me. Unfortunately it is quite pricey so I couldn't justify buying it at the time, but I hope to soon!

Elizabeth Arden Correcting & Highlighting Perfector Pen
35 AUD - Myer

I love the idea of the Elizabeth Arden Correcting & Highlighting Perfector Pen. It looks so easy and fast to use, and I love the look of the applicator. Myer has a special offer on Elizabeth Arden products at the moment, where if you spend over $70, (which I would I got the foundation I'm hoping to try, and the Perfector Pen) you receive a free 9 piece gift valued at $198. The offer ends on March 22nd so I'm hoping to go tomorrow and try out the foundation and hopefully love it and purchase it with the Perfector Pen!

MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre
35 AUD - MAC Counter in Myer

Lastly, the MAC Paint Pot in Soft Ochre. Everyone on Youtube raves about this product non stop, and use it as a base/ eyelid primer for their eyeshadow. I'd like to go and have a look at it at a MAC counter and see if the colour suits me as an eyelid base.
